Résumé

August 2015 – June 2020

UI TECHNICAL LEAD

Zoosk — San Francisco, California

In August 2015 Engineering was restructured. I returned to individual contributor duties but as UI Technical Lead, a non-manager senior UI resource. Since my duties were similar to those of UI Developer, I’d like to note the following achievements:

  • Hosted a three-day internal CSS bootcamp
  • Participated in four Zoosk hackathons and won an award each time
  • Published nine articles on the Zoosk engineering Medium blog (Two were featured on Medium’s Programming page.)
  • One of my product ideas was approved by our in-house "Sparks" panel that reviewed employee-submitted ideas every quarter
  • Deleted many unused images from our codebase, speeding up compiling
  • Completely reorganized our mobile site CSS, creating clarity and eliminating redundant paths

While I was UI Technical Lead, I had an overlapping stint at Zoosk detailed below.
